Nutrition
Baby purees, breakfast based AM snack, lunch, and PM snack are all included in your child’s tuition. You can be confident that their nutritional needs are being met while in our care!
Infant Meals
If a child is under the age of one, the Center provides Gerber stage two foods and Gerber single grain rice cereal. We will not feed your baby a food which they have never tried. Upon enrollment, you’ll fill out the infant menu form and let us know what your baby may have, and teachers will routinely send home new menus to ensure we stay current with their dietary needs. And once your baby has moved into the exciting world of table foods, you’ll receive a “big kid” menu form for that as well.
Parents may send their own food, purees, and cereal if they choose.
We are a nut free center.
Bottles & Breast Feeding Mothers
No one know the particular ins and outs of how your baby likes their bottle made quite like you! Upon enrollment parents will complete an infant feeding questionnaire so we get all the little nuances correct:
Does your child receive breast milk, formula, or are you combo feeding?
Do we mix formula with tap or bottled water?
Does your baby like their bottle served warmed, room temperature, or chilled?
How much and how often do they eat? Do we feed them on demand?
Breastfeeding mothers, you are welcome to come into the center and breastfeed if your schedule allows for it. Please just let our staff know ahead of time so they can make sure your baby hasn’t been fed before your arrival! While we understand the importance and bond breast feeding creates between you and your baby, we do recommend introducing your child to a bottle before their first day of care. Sometimes babies struggle with the new transition from mom to bottle and struggle to feed while they are adjusting.
We do not wash or sanitize bottles, so individual bottles are required for every feeding.
Child Nutrition
Healthy, well-balanced meals are served every day to your children. This is a great way to watch them learn and grow! They’ll try new foods, and create healthy eating habits.
Meal time isn’t just about eating…you can also expect to see your child bring home new table manners and meal time prayers.
Mealtimes matter!
